The fee-for-service program was designed to provide an affordable alternative to engineering firms and DC communications attorneys for grassroots community broadcasters, student radio, and budget-impacted public stations. Common Frequency is accepting inquiries regarding applications for the Commission's upcoming 2026 non-commercial, educational (NCE) FM translator filing window. To apply, you need to be a permitted or licensed NCE or Low Power FM station. Availability of radio channels is limited, as it is for channels under 92.1 FM.
